The twins are the beautiful non-identical daughters of Suze and Rick England.  Born on Thursday 22nd October 2009, Evie and Ellie England are, a year later, becoming distinct little individuals.  I first saw them when they were 9 days' old, but I have no photos from then.  In all honesty, they weren't much fun at that point, since all they could do was lie down - their eyesight wasn't even very strongly developed, so they probably had no clue who they were looking at.  That may or may not have been the time that Evie did her first bit of (milk) sick - on my jeans.

Four months later (in February 2010) is where we first see them in action, as I effortlessly look after both twins, whilst watching TV.  S'easy innit.  To be fair, the twins are fairly pacified.

First up: Ellie, looking mildly concerned with proceedings.

Certainly more so than the dribbly, chilled out Evie.  Hmm, is that a poo face?

Ahh, that's better...  What's she doing with her left arm, though?

After they got bored of sitting on me (probably - it's hard to tell), we moved them to their little mat.  As is quite a common occurrence these days, Ellie attempts to steal whatever Evie is playing with, and Evie doesn't mind too much.

Ooh, this is an early sign of Ellie's penchant for sticking her tongue out.  Evie, thankfully, has shed her desire to eat toy bumblebees.

For a change, we laid them head to toe.  Summat different, innit.

Evie does her rabbit-in-the-headlights look when confronted with the camera.

Ellie focuses on a pink and white spotted thing.  Wait a minute - is that my iPod Touch there?

Fast forwarding seven months to September, when we congregated for Michelle's 30th birthday party at her mum's in Cuddington.  You can clearly see from the photos how much they have changed over that time.  Evie glances back to the camera as Lynne says to Suze that's she's happy to take her off her hands.  Meanwhile, Rick keeps hydrated for his outside door watch as Ellie contemplates escaping.

Evie gets propped up for another shot, which pricks the curiosity of Ellie in the background.  You can really see the difference between them now - I must admit I struggled a little with the February photos...

It was time for a showdown with Ellie.  They both have big blue eyes.  Note: they can now crawl, and with some pace too.

Evie took particular interest in the 30th birthday balloon.

Here we have the girls just sat around chilling.  Well, Evie is being supported, but looks fairly relaxed anyway.  Not sure who she is looking at.  Probably Lynne.

Evie clearly likes being propped up...  And also posing for the camera.  Ellie can't help but be interested, though.

Right, I just need to make a call.  Wait a minute.  Is that my phone?  Yes, babies seem to have an obsession with chewing mobile phones, remote controls, and the like.

Rick does a really poor job of hiding behind Evie.  We know you're there, Rick.

Lynne and Ellie are both distracted by something.  It's Ellie's turn to look after the balloon, which seems to be tied around a sick kitten.

Then Lynne gets bored and goes back to chatting and drinking coke.  Ellie spots the camera, though.  The kitten doesn't look so hot, though.

Evie demonstrates her crawling skills whilst simultaneously looking angelic.  Ellie, always managing to sneak into the background (or maybe that was deliberate by me, I can't remember), plays with some weird thing.

Bored of that crawling malarkey, Evie settles back to play... with the thing that Ellie just had?  That's unusual.

As became a common occurrence, Ellie made one of many escape bids.  It looks so enticing out there!

I simultaneously operate camera and baby.  Skills.

Ellie looks imperious.

Ellie, with her tufty blonde hair, gives another toy a good chew.

Evie proves herself to be a right poser as she lets rip a cracking grin to the camera.  In the background, Lynne holds a third (much younger) baby.  There's loads of 'em!

Rick and Suze get a breather as Claire and Lynne take on awkwardly-holding-a-baby-each duties.

Well, that's all this page has got for you, so you'd better click here for more twin action.
