Daisy passes three months and starts showing more and more signs of growing up.  In a striking blue outfit, complete with obligatory daisies, Daisy keenly watches the TV in full control of the Sky remote.  Well maybe not full.  She's just about 14 weeks old here.

Daddy and Daisy settle down for a good bit of TV watching, beer in my hand, flower rattle toy thing in Daisy's.  Ignore the belly bulge, it's just the - cough - camera angle.

Daisy gets to grips, literally, with the "Bumbo".

Daisy's self-discovery of her thumb as a comfort has been very helpful in enabling her to get some shut-eye.  Fifteen weeks old here.

Sixteen week old Daisy shows off a new outfit on the changing mat.

Daisy has developed her pick-up-and-chew skills.

Time speeds up as she is four months old today, and just chilling in her vest (and socks) on a warm morning with a modestly-placed muslin, which she likes to hold on to as a comfort blanket.

Nothing like a good 80s-style workout in the Bumbo.

She's growing up fast, chilling on the sofa with me on Daddy & Daisy day (well, afternoon).  Wearing a proper outfit and everything.

She has a good giggle in the playpen.

Here, she is 18 weeks old and gives the dangling princess a good working over.  She grabs her feet to chew and looks up her skirt.  This is behaviour we need to watch.

A second Sunday visit for Paul B and Vicky, the former tentatively holding Daisy, the latter putting forth Monkey, one of the add-ons of the jungle mat.

Paul & Vicky switch roles (sans Monkey) as Daisy can't help but look over towards me.

Even when on the mat she still keeps looking over.  It's definitely Daddy & Daisy weekend (I'd spent the previous afternoon in sole custody while Lynne shopped and got her haircut).

Paul B played with her, as she showed off her skills - the foot slam seen previously and, here, the half roll.  It's only a matter of time before she flops on her front and can't get back on her back again.

More soon...

She gets very excited by books now, seemingly never getting bored, and always insisting on holding on to the pages.  Here she makes a proper attempt at holding on to the book.  It's a slightly manufactured shot but none the worse for it.

Here she is on Lynne's birthday, far too tired to sit with me and talk.  The magic thumb is called into action.

This is a more usual settee position, as she eyes me and the camera up suspiciously.  Looking like a proper little girl here, all in pink.  And twenty weeks old.

Snug as a bug in a rug.

Daisy advertises the latest iCandy product, which is in fact the same base as the pram but with a pushchair-style.  Lynne calls it the Big Girls' Pram.  My trainers glow ominously.

Rock on, Tommy!  She's a bit of a poser, our Daisy, never missing a moment when the camera's out.

A close-up shot when 21 weeks old, on her favourite play mat.

Another shot, this time from flush on the carpet, as Daisy's camera tracking device kicks in.  Meanwhile, the rabbit gets garrotted on the string cord.

She likes staring at Daddy.

Look Daddy, I can read a book about cats!  Raffy the Giraffe gets forgotten about in the learning melee.

A semi-impromptu trip to Edinburgh saw us visit the Botanical Gardens, where Daisy tried out her new cushion (and familiar thumb, naturally)...

...which is still in place when Craig gets to hold her (he, and his wife Vicky, were the main reasons we had popped up to Scotland for an extended weekend).

Back in Haddington, Daisy tried out her... well... big inflatable rabbit-headed thing, whilst wearing a bib (so presumably had just been fed).  She wasn't entirely sure what to make of it.

Grandma Avis does some winding.  And then encourages Daisy to burp...

And that brings you up to date.

Apart from this, where Lynne has successfully managed to encourage Daisy to smile for the camera.  Normally, she just stares.  She's nearly five months old here.

More soon.
